Andrea Sauchelli is an abstract landscape painter who pulls much of her inspiration from the natural environment around her. Her use of oil pigment sticks allows for expressive and colorful, abstracted landscapes that mimic the light and energy of these wild and natural spaces. Sauchelli graduated with a BFA from the College of Imaging Arts and Sciences at Rochester Institute of Technology and she has exhibited in New Jersey, New York and Philadelphia. A wide collection of her work is part of permanent collections throughout Southern New Jersey, for AtlantiCare’s Healing Arts Program. She leads a free and inclusive community plein air group - Plein Air in Pine Air, and is an art instructor at Pine Shores Art Association. Sauchelli is represented at Refind in Bayhead and Solace Studio and Gallery in Surf City. She is a Signature Artist of ArtC South Jersey Artists Collective and a Signature Artist at the Noyes Museum of Art in Atlantic City. Sauchelli is currently doing a fellowship with South Jersey Cultural Alliance in an effort to connect artists and the community to each other in Southern New Jersey.
